Information used by AutoManual
AutoManual processes the account details you provide, order records, support messages and technical request information needed to operate the website. Security checks may use your IP address, account activity and browser or device identifiers to detect abusive requests.
Why information is used
We use this information to manage accounts, provide previews and purchased documents, handle support requests, protect the service and maintain operational records. Session cookies support sign-in and shopping functions.
Service providers
Hosting and document-storage services support the website. If a payment or sign-in provider is offered, information required for that service is processed by that provider under its own policies. Payment options actually available are shown at checkout.
Access and retention
Access to administrative records is restricted by role. Records are retained according to their operational, security and transaction purpose; temporary document files are handled separately from order records. To ask about your account information, use the support area linked below.
Your account
You can manage the information available in My account. For an access, correction or deletion request, include the account or order reference so the request can be verified. Some transaction and security records may need to be retained.
Optional analytics
If you choose Allow analytics, AutoManual uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to public articles and the manual catalog. Google receives cookie-based identifiers, technical browser information and the public page address; your IP address is also involved in the network connection to Google. We do not add account emails, private PDF addresses, download tokens, payment details or free-form search text to these events. Administration, account, checkout and private document viewers are excluded from this public-page measurement.
No Google Analytics tag is loaded before you allow analytics. You can decline without losing access to the site, or change your choice using Analytics preferences on public content pages. The saved choice expires after 180 days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable this optional measurement. Blocking analytics or declining cookies means those visits are absent from our GA4 reports. Google privacy policy.
After analytics consent, a referring origin from a limited list of public search engines, social networks or AI services may also be sent to understand how visitors discover AutoManual. Referring page paths, search queries, account identifiers and arbitrary referring websites are not added to these events.
Internal visitor monitoring
When internal monitoring is enabled, restricted staff can see visited public page paths, activity times, a broad device category and protected IP information for up to seven days. Account, checkout, administration, form contents and URL query parameters are excluded. IP addresses are not sent to external geolocation services. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control opt out. Shared networks and IP addresses do not identify a particular person.
